Come to Kundalini Yoga
Get a 2 for 1 movie pass for The Waiting City
The first Australian film to be shot entirely in India
Each person coming to a Kundalini Yoga class will receive a pass to The Waiting City showing at the Nova Cinema, Rundle St East from July 15th.
Directed by Australian rising talent Claire McCarthy, The Waiting City tells the story of an outwardly happy Australian couple who journey to India to collect their adopted baby. When they arrive in Kolkata they discover that the adoption arrangements have still to be finalised. Soon the intoxicating mystic power of the city pulls them in separate and unexpected directions and the vulnerability of their marriage begins to reveal itself. The first Australian feature film to be shot entirely in India, The Waiting City is an intimate, complex love story of transformation, set against the exhilarating epic backdrop of Kolkata, starring Radha Mitchell and Joel Edgerton.
Yoga for the Radiant Child
Our next block starts on Saturday 17th July - Fully Booked
This class is designed for children with special needs and their parents. Yoga for children is a natural way to exercise, relax, focus, and strengthen the body mind spirit connection.
The 45 minute class will help reduce hyperactivity, balance emotions, improve concentration, co-ordination, and self-control in children with sensory-regulatory issues.
Music, dance, rhymes and stories with movement are some of the activities that the teachers at The Gem use to connect with the children. We include relaxation and breathing into the classes and create an environment of trust for the children and parents.
Class lead by Dana (DIR Floortime Speech Pathologist); Janie (Radiant Child Yoga Teacher) and Kathy (KRI Yoga Teacher).
Classes run on Saturday’s at 9:30am and are run in four week blocks with a break after each block; this is to help establish continuity for the group.
Radiant Child Yoga Program defered
Teacher Training Program with Siri Mukta Kaur, has been defered.
Siri Mukta has been asked to teach Radiant Child in Asia this August when the next training for Adelaide had been planned. We'll let you know when we have rescheduled.
She is disappointed not to be coming to Adelaide but the opportunity to expand the Radiant Child Teacher network was just too good to let pass.
